Fred Beltrandi


Fred is a professional economist with a master’s degree in transport planning and over 30 years’ experience working in the planning and development of infrastructure projects. He has worked as a strategic advisor for both the public and private sector across different disciplines.

Fred started his career with consultants Atkins plc and then joined London Transport (now Transport for London) to work on public transport planning and operations. Since joining Steer, Fred has directed large scale infrastructure and mobility projects in different urban and regional environments. His work experience in the UK includes advising central government and transport authorities across the city regions; in addition to advising private operators, developers, technology providers and infrastructure concessionaires. Fred has considerable international project experience, having directed and managed projects in North America, Central America, mainland Europe, Russia and the Middle East.
